A focused, 50-60 hour course for the revised Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) exam from 2015. Compact Advanced provides C1-level students with thorough preparation and practice needed for exam success. Ten units cover all four exam papers in a step-by-step approach. This Workbook provides further practice of language and vocabulary introduced in the Compact Advanced Student's Book. Topics and exam tasks follow the progression of language in the Student's Book units. Grammar and vocabulary exercises train students to avoid common mistakes, identified using the Cambridge Learner Corpus of real exam candidates' answers. Downloadable Audio contains the listening material for the Workbook listening activities and includes exam-style listening tasks. A Workbook with answers is also available.
